Most projects launch within 3–5 weeks. Let's talk about yours.
No hidden fees, no awkward surprises. Every project starts with a scoping call so you know exactly what you're getting.
For new businesses, campaigns, or anyone who needs a sharp online presence fast.
For established businesses ready to treat their website as a growth channel.
For complex builds where performance, scale, and UX are all non-negotiable.
Every project is different. Here's what moves the number up or down.
More pages means more design and development work. We scope every page individually.
Booking systems, calculators, integrations, and custom user flows all add scope.
Heavily animated or illustration-heavy designs require more time than clean, minimal builds.
If you provide copy and images, we move faster. If you need copywriting, we can source it — for a fee.
Rush projects (under 2 weeks) carry a 20–30% urgency premium.
Custom code builds take longer than templated platforms, but offer more flexibility and no monthly fees.
Tell us what you need on a 30-minute call. We'll give you an honest scoping, not a upsell.
We started Orvexa Labs because too many businesses were stuck with websites that looked average and converted worse. We decided to fix that.
Most web agencies sell templates dressed up as custom work, take six months to deliver, and disappear the moment you need changes. We built Orvexa as the antidote to that.
We're a lean, focused team of designers and developers who work on a small number of projects at a time. That means your project gets proper attention — not an overworked junior managing it between twelve other builds.
We're based in the UK but work with clients globally. If your goals are serious, we're the right team.
Real numbers. No fluff.
We take on fewer projects so we can focus more on each one. If we can't do it properly, we'll say so.
We tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. If something isn't working, we'll flag it early.
Shipping a website isn't the goal. Your business growing because of that website — that's the goal.
You own everything we build. No retainer traps, no platform dependencies you didn't agree to.
Fill in the form and we'll get back to you within one business day.
Short form. No nonsense. We'll read it properly.
We'll be in touch within one business day. If it's urgent, call us on +44 7405 092285.
Back to HomeNo pitch. No hard sell. Just a straight conversation about your goals and whether we're the right fit.
A focused, 30-minute conversation — not a discovery marathon.
We'll ask about your business, what you're trying to achieve, and what's blocking you right now.
If you have an existing site or brand, we'll give you an honest quick-take. No charge, no strings.
We'll sketch out what a project might look like — timeline, rough budget range, platform suggestions.
If it's a fit, we'll send a detailed proposal within 48 hours. If not, we'll point you in the right direction anyway.

A 1-second delay in load time can cost you 7% in conversions. Here's how to fix the most common culprits.

Every section has a job. Here's what to include, what to cut, and the order that converts best.
You don't need an enterprise SEO budget. You need to get the basics right. Here's exactly what that means.
A good brief is the difference between a smooth project and a painful one. Here's the template we wish clients used.
Most business websites share the same problem: they look like websites, but they don't work like sales tools. They have a homepage, an about page, a services page, and a contact page — but nothing on any of those pages is designed to make a visitor take action.
The biggest issue is that most websites are designed around the business's structure, not the customer's journey. You start with "About Us" because that's how companies think about themselves. But your visitor doesn't care about your history — they care about whether you can solve their problem.
A conversion-focused website starts with the visitor's question: Can this company help me, and why should I trust them? Every page should answer that question faster and more convincingly than the last.
Specificity. Vague copy like "we help businesses grow" converts worse than specific, measurable promises. One is a promise. The other is a platitude.
Social proof positioned at decision points. A testimonial buried in the footer helps no one. Place it right before the CTA where doubt is highest.
One clear call to action per page. Not five options. Not a cluttered nav with twelve destinations. One next step, clearly signposted.
Audit your current site with this question for every page: What do I want the visitor to do after reading this? If the answer isn't immediately obvious from the page design, that's your problem — and your starting point.
That's exactly what we build. Book a free call to talk through your project.
Book a Free CallEvery second your website takes to load is costing you money. Google's own research shows a 1-second delay in mobile page load can reduce conversions by up to 20%. For most businesses, that's thousands of pounds left on the table every month.
Users are less patient than they've ever been. The average person will abandon a page that takes more than 3 seconds to load. On mobile, it's even less forgiving. Google also uses page speed as a direct ranking signal — slow sites don't just lose customers, they lose visibility.
Uncompressed images are the single biggest offender on most business websites. A hero image uploaded straight from a camera can be 4–8MB when it should be under 200KB. Next are unminified CSS and JavaScript files, too many third-party scripts (live chat, analytics, ad trackers), and no caching configured on the server.
A well-optimised site should score 90+ on Google Lighthouse and load the first meaningful content within 1.5 seconds. This is achievable without exotic infrastructure — it just requires disciplined development practices from the start, not bolted on later.
Start with images — compress everything and use modern formats like WebP. Then audit your third-party scripts and remove anything non-essential. If you're on WordPress, a good caching plugin alone can cut load times by 40%. For anything beyond that, you likely need a developer to look at the actual build.
We build to Lighthouse 90+ as standard. Let's talk.
Book a Free CallAI call assistants have gone from a novelty to a genuine business tool in the space of two years. But there's still a lot of noise around what they actually do well — and where they fall short. This is an honest breakdown, not a sales pitch.
Handling calls when you're unavailable is the obvious one, but the value goes deeper. An AI assistant can answer the same FAQ a hundred times without getting tired or inconsistent. It can capture a caller's name, number, and reason for calling and deliver that as a neat summary to your inbox within seconds. For businesses that regularly miss calls outside of 9–5, this is a real revenue fix.
Appointment booking is another strong use case. If you use a calendar tool like Cal.com or Calendly, an AI assistant can check availability and confirm a booking in real time, without any human involvement.
Complex, nuanced conversations are still better handled by humans. If a caller needs to discuss a sensitive complaint, negotiate pricing, or explain a complicated situation, an AI assistant will frustrate them rather than help. The technology is good at structured, predictable interactions — not emotional or high-stakes ones.
Think of an AI call assistant as a professional receptionist for your off-hours, not a replacement for your team. Used in the right context, it genuinely pays for itself in the first month through leads that would otherwise have gone to a competitor who picked up the phone.
We set them up for businesses in 1–2 days. Let's talk about whether it's right for you.
Book a Free CallA landing page has one job: get the visitor to take a specific action. Everything on the page — every word, image, and button — should either push them toward that action or get out of the way. Here's the structure that consistently works.
You have about 5 seconds to answer three questions: What is this? Who is it for? Why should I care? Your headline should be specific and outcome-focused. "We help businesses grow" is not a headline — it's a platitude. "We build websites that turn visitors into leads" is a headline.
Most designers put testimonials at the bottom. Most high-converting pages put them near the top. Trust needs to be established before the visitor is willing to read your pitch, not after.
Be specific about what you're offering and what happens next. "Book a call" is fine. "Book a free 30-minute call — no pitch, just strategy" is better. Specificity reduces friction.
Every visitor has silent objections: Is this too expensive? Will they actually deliver? What if it doesn't work? Your FAQ section, testimonials, and guarantee copy should address these directly — before the visitor has to ask.
Don't offer multiple different actions. Pick one and repeat it at the top, middle, and bottom of the page. Consistency builds conviction. Variety creates confusion.
We specialise in exactly this. Let's talk about your project.
Book a Free CallSEO doesn't have to be complicated. For most small businesses, the difference between ranking and not ranking comes down to a handful of technical basics — none of which require an agency retainer or specialist knowledge to implement.
Every page on your site should have a unique title tag (under 60 characters) and meta description (under 160 characters) that accurately describes what's on that page. This is the first thing Google reads and the first thing a potential customer sees in search results. Get this wrong and everything else is harder.
Each page should have exactly one H1 — your main headline. Subheadings should use H2 and H3 in a logical hierarchy. This tells search engines how your content is organised and makes it easier for them to understand what each section covers.
A sitemap tells Google which pages exist on your site and how they relate to each other. Most platforms generate this automatically — you just need to submit it to Google Search Console, which is free and takes ten minutes to set up.
Google ranks mobile-first. If your site doesn't work properly on a phone, you're being penalised. HTTPS (the padlock in the browser bar) is also a ranking signal and a trust signal — any site without it looks unprofessional in 2025.
Already covered in a separate post, but worth repeating: speed is a direct Google ranking factor. Aim for a Lighthouse performance score above 85 as a baseline.
Every Orvexa project ships with proper meta tags, sitemap, and performance optimisation. Let's talk.
Book a Free CallA bad brief leads to a bad project — or at minimum, a slower, more expensive one. Most of the friction that happens mid-project (scope creep, missed expectations, revision rounds) can be traced back to a brief that wasn't clear enough at the start. Here's how to get it right.
The most common mistake in a brief is leading with "I want a clean, modern website" rather than "I want my website to generate 20 qualified enquiries per month." The first tells an agency what style you like. The second tells them what you actually need — and lets them design toward an outcome, not a preference.
Your target customer is the most important thing an agency needs to understand. Their age, profession, what they care about, what makes them sceptical, what would make them click. The more specific you are, the better the output.
Send three or four website examples you admire and explain specifically what you like about each one. Do the same for sites you don't like. "I like the clean layout of this one but not the dark colour scheme" is infinitely more useful than "make it look premium."
Agencies price work based on scope. If you're not transparent about your budget, you'll get a proposal that guesses — and it might be wildly off in either direction. A good agency will tell you honestly what's achievable within your range, not upsell you.
If a visitor lands on your homepage and does nothing else, what's the one thing you want them to do? If you can answer that clearly, you've already given an agency more than most clients do.
